(Mexico) .- Starting next week, commercial activities will resume in CDMX, which is expected to increase capacity in restaurants and other businesses.

The capital of Mexico continues for another week with a yellow traffic light, as was announced by the national authorities, who also explained that the measure will last until June 6. "One day after CDMX, he plans to return to face-to-face classes," they pointed out.
Likewise, the capital authorities reported that COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations for the disease continue to decline.

For next week they plan to increase the capacity to 50% in places such as commercial entertainment such as aquariums, libraries, drive-ins, bowling alleys, billiards, casinos and gambling houses, shopping centers and department stores, as well as markets, gyms, museums and parks and amusement.

In the case of restaurants, the indoor capacity will also be increased to 50% and the use of children's areas will be authorized to celebrate Children's Day. Theaters and circuses may also increase their capacity by 40%. Likewise, activities will be resumed in spas and massage rooms.

According to the authorities, until this Friday, May 28, in CDMX there are 759 people hospitalized for COVID, 203 less compared to those registered on Friday, May 21. In total there are 282 intubated people.
“In the Valley of Mexico 1,014 hospitalized are reported, a drop of 231 compared to last week; 347 are intubated. Hospital occupancy in CDMX is 8.99% ”, they explained in a press release.

CLASSES
Regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes, the Government explained that “the basic education schools of Mexico City must carry out a consultation with parents this weekend to decide whether or not to return to face-to-face classes, next June 7th ".
“The objective of this consultation - which will also include the educational community - is to decide by consensus on returning to the classroom. Each manager must inform his immediate authority of the result of the consultation no later than Monday, May 31 ".
The Federal Educational Authority also reported that the consultation may be carried out through virtual surveys, opinion polls, group meetings with families, with members, instant messaging groups or through a mailbox outside the school.
